Career

Jeremy left his teaching career to start his acting career on Broadway.

Jeremy soon found a job. He posed in front of Playgirl’s cameras after his girlfriend submitted his photos to the magazine. Jeremy took the opportunity to get into the adult film industry. He thought of this as an excellent way to support himself.

Jeremy started using his two first names in porn after his grandmother, Rose, was flooded with calls. He received calls almost every hour from potential clients who saw his picture in Playgirl.

He even had to move out of his house for a month. “My father said, If you want to get into this naked, crazy business, do it, but if you use our last name again, I’ll kill you.” To protect his family, he quickly abandoned the name, referring to them in his films.

The nickname ‘hedgehog’

Jeremy quickly got the nickname for the hedgehog. William Margold, his porn colleague gave him this nickname in 1979 while shooting the Olympic Fever porn movie.

Jeremy flew from New York to the filming location. Because he was expecting warm California weather. So he only put on a T-shirt and shorts and didn’t put on any more clothes. As they rode for a long time to the filming site, Lake Arrowhead, in the California mountains, the weather got colder and colder. He was almost hypodermic. When they arrived on the scene, Jeremy immediately took a hot shower. Ron was done with the shower. His skin turned pink, and all her body hairs stood against the sky. Margold saw him, he said to him, “My friend, you are a hedgehog! A walking, talking hedgehog!” Contrary to popular belief, his nickname had nothing to do with his weight because he was physically fit at that time.
